People translate themselves every day
to make themselves seem this or that way
did I translate myself well?
did it make the source seem ok?
but the original, not bound by any edition
remains unseen and richer than any translation / version (unknown)
Censorship
I censor what you see of me / I censor what I show to you
fearing parts of myself are ugly / unacceptable
lots of hiding and lots of faking (and I give you what I think is acceptable)
